Our Little Girl's Room... The Journey
Left side. We're going to get longer bars to have three rows for hanging.
Middle of closet. This is where we'll store things we may not always need.
Paint sample site... We like. =)
Left side... We planned for 3 rows for hanging clothes. =) This little girl will have quite the wardrobe! OR we'll just use two to hang and the other for more storage space.
Middle ... Here we have the 2 top shelves and then 1 more smaller one below. Left the bottom for more storage space.
Crib and dresser are built. Now to decide how to lay it out! (IKEA)
Baskets in and books from the baby shower in place.
I firmly believe every nursery should have a rocker! Rocker from Target, bedding Overstock.
Toy chest built. Jocelyn's growth chart to the left. The frames was a DIY project. Frames from IKEA, I painted them, then added ribbon for hanging. I'm going to put ultrasound and maternity pictures.
Had a friend come and paint the tree. I love it!
Closet is still a work in progress. She needs more clothes :) Car seat will be removed this week.
Right side. Here we're going to add shelves and baskets.
We have electricity! Fan is up and running. We installed a dimmer switch, which I think will be very helpful for those late night feedings.
We're ready to paint!
DH painting the room while I watch. =)
Right side... This side will have 2 shelves that go all the way across from the middle and then 2 smaller shelves below. Storage for baskets and other items. We left some space to the left for anything tall that may need to be stored.
Walls are finished and the carpet is gone!!! Now to install the laminate.
Bookshelves and curtains are up! (IKEA/BBB)
Still working out this area. I'm in love with the elephant rocker.
Closet doors are finally back up.
Floor mat came in. It was a mission trying to figure out how to separate all the colors!
We decided to do a collage of pictures on the wall. We'll fill them up as we go.
We need like 7 more of the green baskets to help keep everything organized. And those are 10 cases of diapers! Thanks Amazon!
